How CYS Can Help Your School
- Provide crisis counseling & consultation on campus
- Provide resource and referrals for students, families and schools personnel
- Provide supportive counseling to students
- Provide basic needs/seasonal items as available
- Education and/or support groups (Grief, Social Skills, Behavioral & Anti-Bullying)
- Support for homeless population
- Serve as liaison between school and Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
- Serve as liaison between school and services of Harris County to include Juvenile Probation
- Assist families with voluntary facility placements outside of the home
- Make home visits
Who can refer students to CYS?
Referrals can come from any school staff, parents, friend or from other agencies. In in doubt feel free to contact me and I will help any way I can.
